Microsoft Edge browser will warn users about “leaked” passwords

-

The browser will constantly check the information against databases of information about declassified logins and passwords. Continuous monitoring of passwords will allow users to receive information in case of detection of activity by cyber fraudsters. Following this, device owners will receive advice on how to change sensitive data in order to maintain a high level of security. Passwords in this case must be synchronized with a Microsoft account.

The new Chromium 88-based Microsoft Edge 88 release brings vertical navigation between open tabs and enhanced functionality for working with PDFs.

In addition, Microsoft is working to improve its anti-spam engine. The protection present in Chromium, according to Microsoft employee Eric Lawrence, may not work properly and block access to some URLs. Therefore, the company hopes to improve this mechanism.
